Some projects are about vision. This one was about execution — bold, fast, and built to hit the street running.
Shawarma Lab was a fresh concept set to launch in Lebanon — a modern, experimental take on the region’s most beloved food. They handed me a brief and a brand strategy… and trusted me to bring it to life.
The Mission
Build a team that could design and deliver a brand worthy of the name Shawarma Lab
Set a clear creative direction and tone that felt modern, fast, and proudly local
Oversee the process from design to deployment
Handle the on-ground execution in Lebanon, personally
Yes, I got my hands messy — and yes, it smelled like garlic and glory.
What I Did
Assembled a lean, sharp creative team around the project’s needs
Directed the visual identity design — making sure it felt lab-inspired without becoming gimmicky
Oversaw design applications across the brand: logo, packaging, signage, uniforms, space visuals
Flew to Lebanon to personally supervise the real-world brand deployment — from signage alignment to print color matching
It wasn’t theoretical. It was real, and it had to work.
The Outcome
Shawarma Lab launched with a confident, clean identity that stood out in the crowded Lebanese food market
The brand struck a balance between modern design thinking and cultural flavor
The process was efficient, collaborative, and delivered on time, on brief, and on fire
Why This Project Mattered
Because sometimes, you don’t need to rethink the world. You just need someone who knows how to build the right team, set the right tone, and make the damn thing work — beautifully.
